Beaded Animals - The Beadman Weltevreden Spar
I was very honoured to be chosen to help plan Ryan and Evrim's Wedding, This lovely couple presented a little bit of a challenge as Ryan lives in New York and Evrim in Turkey, but even with the time differences we managed to combine their ideas and different cultures and the result was a gorgeous bright elegant wedding with an African twist
The first thing that we settled on was the cake, miniature African 'pots' with fresh flowers, feathers and porcupine quills brought in a unique African feel and doubled up as a lovely gifts for each couple to take home.
The ceremony was in the gorgeous forrest,, not much decor is needed in the forrest but we did want to brighten it up a little bit.
The gazebo was draped in greenery and bright flowers
the aisle runner was made with ombre petals and tins with flowers lined the aisle on wooden stumps
Custom wooden signs added a personalised touch
A custom baobab finger print tree made a very unique guest book
The reception was held at the main lodge long tables were set with hessian and lace runners.
square vases full of orange and purple flowers lined the centre of the tables with lots of candles
Instead of normal table numbers the couple decided to bring in an African twist by using animals to 'name' the tables.
We had custom beaded animals made to the couples specifications
Laser cut name cards in each animal tied it all together.
It was a truly beautiful day and we wish Ryan and Evrim a lifetime of happiness
